Natural gas hot water and cooking perfect for a busy young family

The comfort, control and cost benefits of natural gas hot water are a perfect fit for a busy young family. Read about Quinn and Victoria's gas story, or watch the video below.

While planning their home renovations, Quinn and Victoria chose to connect to natural gas after carefully researching the options.

They firstly wanted to put a stamp on their new home by expanding the kitchen and both wanted a good-sized gas hob to work with.  Quinn does a lot of the cooking at home and loves the speed and ease of cooking with gas.

Switching to natural gas hot water was the next logical choice with four of them at home (and one on the way!).  A continuous hot water heater is able to handle multiple bathrooms easily, a perfect choice as they were adding an en suite as part of the renovations.  Quinn says the new shower is his “favourite part”

Victoria likes the safety aspect of being able to control the water temperature, saying “you can control the temperature to exactly the degree that you want it”.  She loves her hot showers and baths, and by using a digital control panel it is easy to reduce the temperature for their two young girls.

They both ultimately love the cost savings natural gas gives their family, with their bills roughly halved since getting rid of their old and inefficient electric hot water cylinder.

Quinn had initially researched whether LPG gas bottles or mains gas were better. He decided the steady and reliable connection of mains gas would beat the hassle of arranging access and delivery of LPG bottles.

The Gas Hub were recommended to Quinn and Victoria for connecting to natural gas. Quinn found The Gas Hub team really easy to deal with, saying “they were really friendly on the phone”. He was impressed the team made his lawn “all perfect again” after digging holes to complete their natural gas connection.

Quinn and Victoria are very happy customers!
