Let's grow together
Grow Together is now open to schools, marae and community groups across our gas regions, helping more communities create spaces to learn, connect and grow.
We need your help! Nominate your local school, marae or community group to become one of our community garden partners. Two successful applications will each receive up to $6,000 worth of support to bring their community garden project to life.
Anyone can nominate a local group in Wellington, Taranaki, Hawke’s Bay, ManawatÅ« or Horowhenua. Simply use the Grow Together nomination form below from Monday 14 September 2026 and get those green thumbs tapping! Submissions close midnight Sunday 11 October 2026.
Get started by taking a look over our handy guidelines. Terms and conditions apply.
What's in a garden?
Community gardens don’t just grow veggies – they also create organic waste that can break down naturally to produce biogas. By supporting community gardens, we’re helping communities learn about biomethane and how it can energise our homes.
