Reviving home treatments

Whether you’re isolating, masked up or just needing some extra pampering right now. Here are three easy DIY facial treatments you can make from everyday pantry items and do in the comfort of home to revive your skin and your mood.

Moisture Me Banana Mask

Rich in Potassium and Vitamin A bananas are great for restoring hydration and moisture.

1 medium ripe banana

¼ cup plain Greek yoghurt

2 tablespoons honey

Mash banana into a smooth paste then add yoghurt and honey.  Apply gently to your face and neck, lie back and relax for 15 minutes then rinse of with cool water.


Calm & Cool Oatmeal Mask

The anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of oatmeal make this a good mask to calm irritated or rosacea-prone skin.

2 teaspoons oatmeal

3 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

2 teaspoons plain Greek yoghurt

1 teaspoon honey

Mix ingredients until combined. Gently apply to face, leave for about 15 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry and then apply a mild moisturiser. 


Energise Me Citrus Mask

Packed with Vitamin C this energising and exfoliating mask can help regenerate collagen, fight aging and give your skin back its glow.

3 tablespoons orange juice (freshly squeezed is best)
¼ cup honey

Combine the orange juice and honey, apply gently to your face and neck and sit back and let the mask work its magic for 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water and apply your usual moisturiser.
